Ingredients for mix veg raita:

  • Curd/yogurt/dahi(unflavoured)-300 gm
  • Onion(finely chopped)-1(small)
  • Cucumber(finely chopped)-1/2
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped)-1/3 cup
  • Carrot(grated)-1(small)
  • Cooking oil-1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves-10 to 12
  • Green chilli(chopped)-1
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds-1/3 tsp
  • Salt to taste or 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar-1/4 tsp(optional)
  • Red chilli powder-1/4 tsp

Method:

  • Whisk the curd properly, add carrot, onion, cucumber and coriander leaves in it.
  • Add salt, sugar and red chilli powder, mix it well.

Tempering:

  • Turn on the flame and heat oil in a tadka pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli.
  • Fry it for few seconds and turn off the flame.
  • Pour the tadka in the raita and mix it well.
  • Mix veg raita is ready to serve, serve it with your favorite paratha.
